We recruited a local English-speaking trekking guides who have spent years mastering the trails and weather conditions of the park. They are adept at navigating the challenging terrain and guiding trekkers through various routes such as the popular Senaru and Sembalun and Torean trails. Our guides have a vast knowledge of the area’s flora, fauna, and geology, offering fascinating insights into the ecosystem, including the biodiversity of the rainforests, the significance of the crater lake Segara Anak, and the active volcano at the summit.

Safety is a primary concern for our guides, they are trained in first aid and emergency response. They ensure that trekkers are well-prepared for the physical demands of the trek, offering advice on pacing, hydration, and proper equipment. In addition, they also foster a sense of camaraderie, ensuring that trekkers feel supported throughout the journey, whether it’s making regular stops, providing motivation during the strenuous ascent, or managing logistics like setting up camp.

They serve as an ambassador of the mountain’s stunning beauty and cultural significance, creating an unforgettable experience for all adventurers. Their passion for the mountain and commitment to sustainable practices also means that they help preserve Rinjani’s fragile environment, ensuring future generations can experience its wonders.
