We are deeply committed to sustainability and proud to be among the few Rinjani trekking operators who genuinely prioritize the protection of Mount Rinjani’s natural beauty.

We pay our porters well and oblige them to take all the garbage of their own tour back down. In addition each of them shall collect and bring down a full sack of the trash other trekkers just have left there. For each sack we pay a premium at the end of the tour.

The guide’s decision is always based on safety, park regulations, and group consensus.

All trekkers must have a national park trekking permit, which is arranged by an authorized trekking company. The permit includes park entrance fees, insurance, and route registration.

The main routes include:

Sembalun Route – best for summit ascents and gradual elevation gain
Senaru Route – lush forests and crater rim views
Torean Route– scenic descent with waterfalls and valleys

 

Porters carry group equipment, food, water, and camping gear. Hikers usually carry a small daypack with personal items such as water, camera, and jacket. Personal porter service may be available upon request.

Is There Mobile Signal on Mount Rinjani?

Mobile signal is limited and only available in certain areas of Mount Rinjani. Most of the trek is off-grid, offering a chance to fully disconnect and enjoy nature.

Weather conditions are monitored closely. If trekking is unsafe due to heavy rain, strong winds, or park closure, we will offer rescheduling or alternative options in line with safety regulations.

Previous trekking experience is not mandatory, but it is strongly recommended. Travelers who regularly hike, exercise, or participate in outdoor activities will find the trek more manageable. First-time trekkers should choose longer itineraries for better pacing.
