Official Insurance Benefits & Compensation (2026)
Maximum compensation amounts:
- Death (Non-Accident): IDR 10,000,000
- Death (Accident): IDR 30,000,000
- Permanent Total Disability: IDR 30,000,000
- Permanent Partial Disability (Max): IDR 30,000,000
- Medical Treatment Due to Accident: Max IDR 1,500,000
- Emergency Evacuation: Max IDR 1,500,000
These limits are fixed by the National Park insurance scheme.
What Is Considered a “Nature Tourism Accident”?
Coverage applies if the insured person experiences an accident within official trekking routes or natural attraction areas.
Covered emergency situations include:
- Severe ankle sprain preventing walkin
- Bone fracture, dislocation, or bleeding injuries
- Missing person during trekking
- Hypothermia
- Asthma attack
- Critical medical emergencies
- Severe dehydration
- Stroke

- Poisoning

Emergency condition is defined as a life-threatening situation requiring immediate medical attention.

Applies if the insured permanently loses function of:

- Both eyes
- One hand & one foot
- One hand & one eye
- One foot & one eye
Maximum payout: 100% of insured benefit (SA).

- Left arm (from shoulder): 56%
- Right hand (from elbow): 65%

- One eye vision: 50%
- Both ears hearing: 50%
