07:00 AM – Pick-Up & Transfer to Torean Trailhead
After breakfast at your accommodation, our driver will pick you up at 07:00 AM and transfer you to the Torean National Park entrance, approximately 20 minutes away. Upon arrival, you will complete national park registration. The trek starts gently, allowing your body to warm up as you follow a well-defined trail through rural landscapes and forest paths. As you ascend deeper into the valley, the scenery becomes increasingly dramatic.

Day 2: Torean Valley to Segara Anak Lake (2000 m)

After breakfast at Provok Camping Area in Torean Valley, you’ll pack up camp and begin the trek toward Segara Anak Lake, following one of the most scenic sections of the Torean route.
The trail winds through a dramatic canyon landscape, crossing small rivers and streams while passing beneath towering cliffs and dense tropical vegetation. You’ll walk along forest paths and rocky trails, with several short breaks along the way to rest, hydrate, and enjoy the surroundings.
As you approach the lake, the terrain gradually opens up and the iconic Segara Anak Lake comes into view, set deep within Mount Rinjani’s volcanic caldera. The sight of the lake’s deep blue water surrounded by crater walls is a truly memorable moment.
By late morning or early afternoon, you’ll arrive at the Segara Anak Lake campsite, where you can relax, enjoy lunch, explore the lakeshore, and soak in nearby natural hot springs before settling in for the night.
Day 3: Segara Anak Lake (2000 m) to Senaru Crater Rim (Campsite 2641 m)

The ascent starts at 10 Am, the path with a flat walk around the lakeside for a while then climb up to the rim is straightforward. It takes you 2.5 hours to the crater rim with soft and loose earth, lots of big steps as well as rickety ladder. Then you will make it to the stop for camping at Senaru Crater Rim.
Day 04: Senaru crater rim to Senaru village (601 m)
Night hike to Mount Rinjani Second Summit (3126 m)
Wake up 03:30 AM
Have a Light Snack & Night Hike to Second Summit With headlamps on, begin your climb to Mount Sangkareang (Second Summit). The 2 km trail is steep, with some rocky and overgrown sections challenging but rewarding.
Reaching Mount Rinjani Second Summit
05:30 AM – Sunrise at Rinjani Second Summit (3,126m)
Reach the peak just in time for sunrise. From here, you’ll see Lombok’s northern coast, the Gili Islands, and the mighty main Rinjani summit glowing in the distance. While the lake isn’t visible from this point, the panorama is nothing short of majestic. 07:00 AM – Return to Camp & Breakfast
Descend back to Crater Rim for a hearty breakfast and some rest.
Senaru crater rim to Senaru village (601 m)
Distance: 7.9 km
Difficulty: Moderate
Highest point: 2,641 m (Senaru crater rim)
Height gain: -2,041 m
Walk duration: 5 hours
After breakfats and rest begin descending to Senaru Village, 5 hours walking down. Going down slightly easier, you will be slipping and sliding on the loose earth from the rim to Position 4 and 3. After position 3 you will back in the jungle and enjoy the breeze which make hike down pleasant. After about 4 hours of going down, you will make it to the stop for lunch at position 1. After having lunch continue walking down to the beginning or the entrance for 25 minutes. The driver will pick you up and you will head to our office. The trek finish, pick the rest of your luggage, change the car and drop off to your next destination.
